The Human Resources Specialist will coordinate all aspects of human resources within the company to improve efficiency and employee happiness.
Position Objective:
To develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, motivate, and train personnel, as well as manage various human resources processes and policies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, motivate, and train personnel.
- Participate in union negotiations and routine dealings with the union.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Maintain updated systems such as Workday and Prosys.
- Handle difficult labor issues such as employee conflicts, terminations, and disciplinary procedures.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation.
- Support safety and environmental programs.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Be responsible for the training area.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in similar roles.
- Knowledge: Human resources management, HR management systems (Workday, Prosys), labor relations, training and development, safety, and environmental policies.
- Skills: Organization, effective communication, conflict resolution, leadership, teamwork.
