A Human Resources Clerk provides administrative support to the HR department, helping ensure the smooth operation of HR functions and processes. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
1. Employee Records Management
- Maintain and update personnel files (both digital and physical).
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of contracts, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Track attendance, leaves, and time-off requests.
2. Recruitment Support
- Assist with posting job ads and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate candidate communications and interview logistics.
- Collect and organize job applications and resumes.
3. Onboarding and Offboarding
- Prepare onboarding documentation and orientation materials.
- Assist in new hire processing (e.g., forms, background checks, ID cards).
- Coordinate exit paperwork and final checklists for departing employees.
4. HR Reporting and Data Entry
- Enter and update employee data in HR systems or databases.
- Generate basic HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, attendance).
5. Payroll and Benefits Administration Support
- Gather and verify timesheets and other payroll-related information.
6. General Administrative Support
- Support in handle meetings and HR internal communications.
- Support HR events such as trainings, wellness programs, or recognition activities.
7. Compliance and Policy Support
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow data protection protocols.
Skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related, last semester.
- Bilingual English-Spanish 70% - proficient communication
- Experience in mentioned HR activities
- Extensive computer skills including Microsoft Office is required.
- Knowledge in system TRESS.
- Success Factors system knowledge
- Agility in Computer systems.
- Commitment to quality, action oriented, problem solving and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.
