Functional and Country HRBP
Netflix is recruiting for an HRBP, who will partner closely with several teams within our local operations in Mexico, Colombia and Argentina. The focus of this role is to efficiently partner with the business, implement talent priorities at scale, coach people managers, and influence to enable our teams to accomplish amazing things. This role is based in Mexico City.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR & Business Partnership
Enable business results by bringing the talent strategy to life through understanding business needs, influencing outcomes, and executing with excellence.
Deliver solutions in alignment with Netflix’s LATAM regional teams to ensure a consistent employee experience, encompassing strategic planning, visioning, talent density assessment, change management, and team or culture building.
Implement scalable solutions by connecting talent needs and opportunities with GBP Programs
Locally execute the Talent Strategy , maintaining direct interaction with local teams and collaborating with LATAM Functional HRBPs and LATAM Regional GBPs.
Collaborate on talent development plans for specific functions/locations, ensuring alignment with the overall Talent strategy for the country/region.
Support reorganizations by focusing on the design, communication, and system updates in partnership with Employee Services.
Talent Development & Management
Coach People Managers in challenging conversations related to feedback, keeper test, and healthy conflict.
Ensure onboarding plans are in place for new employees by working closely with People Managers and supporting initiatives to immerse new employees into the Netflix Culture.
Facilitate workshops and training in English and Spanish in partnership with Global Business Partners in Latam
Guide and coach managers to build high-performing teams .
Employee Experience & Relations
Serve as the local Talent connector and main point of contact for employees based in Colombia and Argentina (all functions), and for employees within the assigned function in Mexico.
Triage inquiries and connect questions to appropriate subject matter experts/teams (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Employee Services) when necessary.
HR Operations & Data Analytics
Perform periodic checks on Workday org structure integrity
Understand and coordinate data updates for re-org/team structure changes with Talent operations and HRBPs (ad-hoc or mass upload).
Analyze data and observations across the organization around promotions, hiring, and exits, highlighting trends, and recommending/driving solutions, as appropriate
Profile and Experience
10+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, with a focus on supporting various countries across Latin America.
Proven expertise in leading the implementation of talent initiatives, including culture building, organizational development, talent management, and inclusion and diversity.
Highly experienced in navigating and thriving in complex, highly matrixed organizations, demonstrating adaptability and quick decision-making in ambiguous environments.
Strong judgment in assessing business risks and a proven ability to cultivate relationships across teams while learning and adapting to constant change.
Solid experience as an HR coach and advisor, prioritizing people-centric approaches over processes.
Possesses strong project and change management skills, complemented by excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
