About the Position:
The HR Generalist with a focus on Regional Recruitment for LATAM is responsible for providing day-to-day support across core HR functions while leading recruitment processes for positions across Latin America. This role combines generalist duties, including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, engagement, HR data management and organizational development for our Mexico team—with regional talent acquisition, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and local labor regulations in coordination with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Generalist (for Mexico):
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR topics such as internal policies, benefits, procedures and general support.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, including contracts, amendments, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, absences..
- Collaborate with management to ensure HR compliance during audits and internal reviews.
- Support the identification of training needs, coordinate courses or workshops, and handle logistics and follow-up.
- Administer employee benefits and support the annual enrollment and renewal process by coordinating with providers and assisting employees with questions.
- Assist in the implementation of satisfaction, climate or any other HR related survey.
- Support the organization of employee engagement activities.
- Contribute to HR initiatives that promote employee retention, engagement, and organizational development.
- Work closely with HR manager on team department heads to contribute to workforce planning and support talent development initiatives.
- Support the HR management in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with local legislation and company objectives.
- Provide support in employee relations matters and assist with investigations as needed.
- Manage and coordinate the annual performance review cycle and support managers in talent development planning.
- Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews and system deactivation.
- Prepare and validate pre-payroll data, including any employee incidence, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to the payroll department.
- Provide support in the implementation of future HR-related projects and initiatives, as required by the department.
Recruitment & Onboarding (for Latam Countries):
- Coordinate recruitment processes across LATAM countries in partnership with the Regional HRBP and local hiring managers.
- Post job openings, screen CVs, and coordinate interviews with relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for candidates during the recruitment process to ensure professional and timely experience.
- Manage the onboarding process for all new hires in the region, including the creation of employee profiles in the system, and ensure that all legal documents are completed and employee records are fully updated.
- Coordinate and lead onboarding sessions for new hires in the region.
Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across cultures and collaborate with remote teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in general HR functions.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle recruitment, specifically for roles across LATAM countries.
- Understanding of local labor regulations and HR practices in México.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS systems and recruitment platforms (e.g., ADP, LinkedIn, Indeed, or similar).
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
