Location: Sonora and Chihuahua
Role Responsibilities:
- Master calibration and application techniques as well as specialty products.
- Generate demand through technical support and field demonstrations with strategic products, focusing mainly on field tours, linked with recommendations, DemoPlot plots, field days, counter days, technical talks, distributor support, etc.
- Prepare reports on DemoPlot plots and disseminate the results of the work carried out.
- Focus on the development and positioning of new materials, specialty products, or those of interest to the company.
- Deliver talks on: Calibration, herbicides, insecticides, acaricides, fungicides, bactericides, biorationals, BUMA, IPM, etc.
- Know the area of influence and the factors involved; market, crops, clients, competition, seasons, opportunities, etc., and constantly provide feedback to your immediate supervisor.
- Provide market information for marketing purposes.
- Safeguard the company's products, handle complaints, document, and follow up on such requests.
- Prepare a monthly report, as well as a schedule of activities and results achieved.
- Maintain ethical conduct in your work, along with good behavior, punctuality, discipline, and effective and precise performance of your duties.
- Make proper use of the materials and equipment provided by the company for the performance of your activities.
- Manage a sales territory (sales, collection, inventories, etc.).
- Lead a team of technicians.
- Establish, develop, and maintain good business relationships with current and potential clients.
- Continuously conduct market analysis to guide decision-making.
- Continuously organize training sessions, demonstrations, and field tours with clients.
- Explore new areas where we are not yet present, searching for niches.
Experience / Skills / Abilities:
- Education: Graduated Agronomist Engineer with a degree.
- Languages: 70% English proficiency.
- Travel Required: Yes.
- Experience: 2-3 years in a similar position.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Office, Outlook, statistics, technical and agronomic profile skills.
- Knowledge of the zone, both in the field and in relationships with potential clients.
- Excellent customer service attitude, initiative, ability to relate to farmers, communication skills, organization, dynamism, and professional ethics.
Job Expectations / Working Conditions
- Fieldwork: 80% - 90% of the time.
- Office Work: 10% - 20% of the time, including expense tracking, reporting and online meetings.
