Description
As a member of the Americas Outsourcing Team you will be working closely and in collaboration with the Heads of Compliance in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands in a support role. You will assist and support in providing administrative, compliance, regulatory and operational services to overseas intergroup stakeholders, in accordance with applicable policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, service levels and company standards so as to satisfactorily meet expectations.
Job specification
- Adopt the global outsourcing policy and framework and primarily support the Heads of Compliance in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
- Join regular calls and meetings primarily with the Heads of Compliance in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands for general updates.
- Understanding of corporate, legal and regulatory compliances primarily for Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
- Work primarily with the Bermuda and Cayman Islands risk and compliance teams to ensure operational adherence.
- Support with implementation and roll out of the Nexus Assurance system across the business primarily for Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
- Support with the data collection and data validation for Nexus Assurance migration primarily for Bermuda and the Cayman Islands a.
- Maintaining outsourcing registers in excel and on systems primarily for Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
- To assist primarily with preparing presentations for Bermuda and the Cayman Islands legal entity board reports.
- Support the implementation and roll out of a new risk framework system.
- Reviewing, amending and drafting new documents.
- Preparing quarterly and ad-hoc reporting packs primarily for Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
- Assisting in audits including internal audits and risk assessments and reviews from an outsourcing perspective primarily for Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
- Maintaining and updating trackers internally and ensuring data integrity and confidentiality of internal information.
- Supporting with the roll out of standardised global KPIs, KRIs and reports primarily for Bermuda and the Cayman Islands
- Preparation of annual due diligence reports
- Quality assurance and control
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and drafting skills including drafting of presentations and reports and supporting in writing policies and procedures
- 3 to 5 year’s experience in the compliance and / or regulatory services field.
- Ability to learn and grasp new compliance/risk/regulatory concepts and understanding these primarily for Bermuda and the Cayman Islands .
- Strong work ethic.
- Adapting and flexible approach towards learning new systems and operational procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines, excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Team Player with excellent collaborative, analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
- Result oriented, detail oriented, team player with ability to work effectively with minimum supervision, in a fast paced, complex and dynamic environment.
- Very strong MS Office skills (including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
