Position Title: Implementation and Business Process Specialist
Job Purpose
The Implementation and Business Process Specialist supports Operations Management in executing strategic initiatives and optimizing operational processes within the Global Forwarding business unit. This role serves as an executional project lead for implementation activities, ensuring efficient workflows and contributing to the successful rollout of new business processes for TOC Logistics.
The position requires strong coordination with Sales, Key Account Management, IT, Solutions Design, Tender Management, and other departments to ensure effective onboarding, documentation, and continuous improvement. Additionally, the role involves working with systems such as Optimized and CargoWise (CW), and engaging IT support when necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Pursuit Huddle Follow-Up
Validate and track commercial opportunities discussed during Tender Management calls.
Document key outcomes and translate them into actionable project plans.
Maintain a pipeline of anticipated projects to ensure readiness for execution.
Customer Implementations
Lead new business implementations, ensuring tasks are executed on time and aligned with defined milestones.
Act as a central liaison across Sales, Operations, IT, and other departments to align on resources, timelines, and deliverables.
Support Sales and KAMs in establishing and documenting customer SOPs.
Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and TMS documentation.
Coordinate with IT and relevant teams to execute system-related improvements.
Process Audits and Continuous Improvement
Perform audits of operational processes and documentation.
Identify opportunities for optimization and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Deactivation Process Coordination
Coordinate deactivation processes for customers, business partners, and vendors.
Ensure accurate closure documentation and timely updates in systems to maintain compliance and data integrity.
Qualifications and Experience
Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional implementation initiatives.
Solid understanding of Incoterms and international forwarding operations.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
Proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and execution.
Experience with TMS platforms, preferably CargoWise.
Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred.
