About the job
Your tasks
- Work with compliance engineer to understand test requirements for our equipment. Develop and conduct tests to meet the regulatory and customer requirements.
- Provide design inputs to design engineering to accelerate product development\testing.
- Prepare and maintain accurate test report for review by engineering team or compliance engineering.
- Schedule testing based on availability of test stalls and product prototypes.
- support product testing in-house and with third party testing agencies.
- Assist with in house regulatory testing by defining required test plans and confirming results for certification
- Follows general guidelines and standard operating procedures but has authority to deviate in the best interest of the company.
- Coordinate lab calibration and preventive maintenance.
- Interface with maintenance and external vendors to troubleshoot lab issues.
- Perform audit testing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required engineering related field (mechanical\electrical\electronics). Preferred Masters
- EPA certification for working on CRE
- 3-5 years experience working in lab environment. Preferred lab management experience
