RFMS Product Development and Test Engineering Group
The RFMS Product Development and Test Engineering group develops test solutions for the design verification and characterization of highly integrated RF transceiver ASICs, baseband data converters, and timing circuits designed by our company.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop test software
Design and debug test interface hardware
Develop and implement test methodologies
Automate test equipment
Verify test solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related fields
>1 year experience in test validation, test automation, RF/Mixed Signal testing
Experience with key RFMS measurements (e.g., EVM, ACLR, Gain, Noise, IP3, Jitter, Signal to Noise, Phase Noise)
Understanding of basic RFMS test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal source analyzer, signal generators, oscilloscopes)
Understanding of basic ATE test platforms (e.g., Advantest, Uflex, Cohu)
Experience with developing/modifying Visual Basic, C++, C#, Java, Python, LabView, and/or TestStand
Knowledge in RF/Mixed signal PCB design basics
Board design, debug, and development skills
Statistical data analysis
Basic analog courses
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in RF/Mixed Signal test methodology development and implementation using different programming languages and test platforms
Strong understanding of RF/Mixed Signal Measurement science
Solid understanding of the measurements necessary to characterize an RF/SoC device through theoretical and practical applications
Statistical data analysis: Ability to design experiments to remove bias, extrapolate sample data to predict population behavior, and prior experience using tools for data analytics
Familiarity with cellular standards such as CDMA2000, 1X-EVDO, LTE, LTEU, WCDMA, UMTS, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, or wireless peripheral standards such as 802.11x WLAN or other OFDM-based systems, GPS, and Bluetooth (preferred)
