We are seeking exceptional talent with the skills and experience necessary to work as a Senior Design Engineer. This position will be responsible for leading product design and development, overseeing projects, implementing design strategies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality products. You will be responsible for managing the design process, providing technical guidance, and ensuring designs meet specifications and standards.
Are You Looking to:
- Create, administer, and control drawings, models, and bill of materials using Cinch procedures, using Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Oracle software.
- Create and administer part numbers, technical drawings, etc.
- Create independent design proposals for new products.
- Carry out the process of engineering changes and drawings modifications.
Are You Ready to:
- Actively participate in design-related meetings with the development team.
- Give support to the plant in technical functions of all products (drawing interpretation, functionality, etc.)
- Support manufacturability concerns related to components design or tolerance.
- Support and provide design information that may be absent from Oracle.
- Provide 3D models for new tool procurement.
- Evaluate suspect components/assemblies through fit, form & function reviews.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Design Engineer with at least 5+ years expert experience (stamping, modelling, assembly, kinematics, and drawings).
- Creo & Solidworks experience a huge plus.
- Fluid in English, both written and spoken.
