Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience.
- Proven track record of delivering stable, reliable production-grade SaaS software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Own and be responsible for quality of the product shipped
- Work closely with developers, product managers and TPM to test the features being shipped across the entire stack, from frontend to backend and data pipelines
- Build test automation suite for smoke, functional, integration and performance testing
- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable QA/testing infrastructure and processes
- Coordinate and manage code deployments and product releases
- Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, and IT support teams for seamless service delivery
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Strong experience in software quality practices, processes and tools like Chromatic or other visual testing tools, PyTest, PyUnit or other testing frameworks, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools
- Postman or other API testing and good automation tools experience as Cypress or Selenium
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Infrastructure automation tools like Terraform
- Strong understanding of Git, Git Workflows, and branching strategies for version control.
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility
Preferred Skills and Expertise:
- Prior DevOps experience building Infrastructure as Code a bonus
- Background in Agile/Scrum environments.
