Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating detailed production schedules, allocating resources (labor, materials, machines), and optimizing production sequences to minimize lead times.
- Developing and implementing production plans based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Analyzing production capacity and determining resource requirements to meet production goals.
- Identifying potential bottlenecks and developing solutions to optimize capacity utilization.
- Calculating material requirements for production orders and ensuring timely availability of raw materials.
- Managing inventory levels, conducting physical counts, and updating SAP records.
- Creating and releasing production orders in SAP.
- Monitoring production progress, tracking production costs, and reporting on performance.
- Monitoring and controlling production activities on the shop floor.
- Managing material movements and ensuring timely delivery of finished goods.
- Analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize production processes.
- Generating reports on production performance, cost variances, and inventory levels.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related area of study
- 6+ years of SAP experience
- Strong understanding of SAP Production Planning modules, functionalities, and configurations.
- Experience in production planning processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze production issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Experience in managing SAP projects, including planning, implementation, and testing.
