Job Opportunity: Controls Engineer
We are looking for a highly motivated Controls Engineer to join our team! This role will support key areas of Engineering, Quality, and New Projects, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to Engineering, Quality, and New Product Development teams.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to boost productivity and reduce costs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and programming issues.
Oversee and maintain scanners, cameras, and control systems.
Implement new procedures, documentation, and methods to improve efficiency.
Perform and document preventive maintenance as scheduled.
Support Production, Engineering, and Quality areas during model changes, audits, and process improvements, ensuring timely execution and reporting.
Actively engage in plant initiatives such as 5’s, TPM, and Kaizen events.
Participate in safety and operational activities, including brigades, drills, and safety documentation.
Requirements
Proven experience in metal-mechanical manufacturing processes.
Advanced knowledge of electricity (medium/high voltage, electrical controls), pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Strong skills in interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electromechanics, Electronics, or Mechatronics (or equivalent proven experience in process control).
Solid knowledge of PLC systems (Allen Bradley – RS Logix 500, 5000, Studio 5000, Factory Talk, Ignition).
Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and service orientation, with the ability to perform under pressure.
Good computer literacy and ability to read technical manuals in English.
Desirable: Experience in welding processes (MIG, Resistance, Friction).
Availability to work different shifts and flexible schedules.
