The Commercial Product Owner is an important role within the organization that bridges the gap between business strategy, product development, and commercializing offerings, tied to the digital customer and partner experience. This role is important for ensuring that the products and services offered by our organization align with the our goals and market demands. The Commercial Product Owner will work with multiple teams, market access teams, and other teams to ensure understanding and implementation of the business model.
You will report to the Director, Digital Commerce Expereince.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Alignment: Understand customer pain points that require changes in commercial or business models and collaborate across the organization to develop a plan for change that improves digital customer & partner experience.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication and collaboration across various business segments to drive the success of new business models & commercial programs. Build policies that ensure alignment between different business units.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the broader sales organization, including sales operations and market access teams, to design and implement commercial programs. Ensure alignment on use cases and revenue growth expectations.
- Policy Improvement: Improve policies where it makes sense. Identify areas for policy enhancement and work with relevant partners to implement changes that benefit us and its customers.
- Digital Transformation Integration: Represent the businesses in digital transformation programs, ensuring that customer and partner-facing experiences are integrated across all product offerings. Drive the adoption and processes to enhance the end-to-end customer journey.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree.
- At least 6 or more years of experience.
- Experience commercial program management or a similar role.
- Experience with software sales, go-to-market strategies, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in Market trends and regulatory changes.
- Experience in validate business models and securing funding.
- Knowledge of regional regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with legal departments on terms and conditions.
