About the job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
The Integrated Planning (IP) organization within Cloud Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) is responsible for planning for data center infrastructure and balancing and shaping demand intent from our Product Areas (PAs), deployment decisions for new technologies and supply capability across data centers, networking and machines. The Operations Planning and Enablement (OP&E) team within IP drives the Operations Plan for all execution teams to drive/enable appropriate capacity to deliver infrastructure needs. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the right amount of supply, orchestrating Supply Demand Matching and resulting actions like Demand Shaping, plan adjustments etc.
You will balance between Demand and Supply to ensure that Google has the right amount of infrastructure (machines, networking, data centers) to meet the needs of our PAs. You will collaborate with stakeholders to maintain efficient supply coverage, and drive any actions needed to address issues. Your analyses, planning acumen, product insights, and cross-functional collaboration will inform decision-making and guide tradeoffs which impact the business, and help us scale and grow our planning capabilities.
