About the team
The Roku Devices organization drives development of hardware and software products that power our platform and partner ecosystem. As a member of this team, you will help deliver complex cross-functional programs supporting Roku-made TVs manufactured across Mexico and beyond. The environment is fast-paced and requires proactive communication, a high sense of ownership, and exceptional organizational skills.
About the role
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) based in Tijuana, Mexico, to support our Roku Made TV (RMTV) programs through development, validation, launch, and ongoing production phases. You will serve as the connective tissue between engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, and regional supplier teams. Your goal will be to ensure product delivery meets our quality standards, timelines, and operational objectives while driving issue resolution with data-driven decision making.
This is a hands-on execution role requiring comfort on the factory floor and fluency in both technical and business contexts. The ideal candidate combines strong program management discipline with engineering familiarity, and thrives in environments where priorities shift and ambiguity is part of the daily rhythm. A successful candidate will also bring process engineering insight and a track record of driving efficiency, cost savings, and manufacturing optimization.
What you'll be doing
- Own the end-to-end execution of TV hardware programs, from NPI to mass production readiness
- Partner with engineering and quality teams to define program schedules, key milestones, and build plans
- Lead cross-functional discussions and drive alignment on critical path items across product, operations, and supplier teams
- Track progress of builds, engineering changes, and issue closures with urgency and attention to detail
- Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions in collaboration with SQE, hardware, and factory teams
- Use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, and internal dashboards to communicate status, track deliverables, and flag risks
- Manage factory engagement including readiness audits, FATP/PVT coordination, and pilot builds
- Identify and mitigate risks across supply chain, logistics, and technical integration
- Identify and implement process improvements and manufacturing efficiency initiatives with clear cost-saving outcomes
- Foster a collaborative and accountable culture across internal and external partners in Mexico and Asia
We're excited if you have
- BS or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related technical field
- 7+ years of experience in hardware program management, preferably in consumer electronics
- Proven success delivering products in high-volume manufacturing environments (TV, mobile, displays, or similar)
- Excellent organizational skills and a structured approach to communication and issue resolution
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing and quality fundamentals (yield, test coverage, DFM, reliability)
- Familiarity with process optimization, Lean principles, and cost efficiency techniques
- Experience working with overseas teams, ideally in Asia, and fluency in supplier engagement
- Data-savvy mindset with ability to interpret trends, escalate anomalies, and drive decisions through analysis
- Proficiency in Excel, JIRA, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Ability to travel within Mexico and internationally up to 25%
Nice to have:
- Prior experience in TV or display-based product development
- Familiarity with audio/video integration, panel supply chain, or retail display certifications
- Mandarin or other second language proficiency

The Roku Culture
Roku is a great place for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment where everyone is focused on the company's success rather than their own. We try to surround ourselves with people who are great at their jobs, who are easy to work with, and who keep their egos in check. We appreciate a sense of humor. We believe a fewer number of very talented folks can do more for less cost than a larger number of less talented teams. We're independent thinkers with big ideas who act boldly, move fast and accomplish extraordinary things through collaboration and trust. In short, at Roku you'll be part of a company that's changing how the world watches TV.
We have a unique culture that we are proud of. We think of ourselves primarily as problem-solvers, which itself is a two-part idea. We come up with the solution, but the solution isn't real until it is built and delivered to the customer. That penchant for action gives us a pragmatic approach to innovation, one that has served us well since 2002.
