We are looking for a Quality & EHS responsible to be part of our Mexico's staff team! In this role you will report directly to the Plant Operations Manager, to be able to coordinate the quality team and the respective department, that ensure the quality of products sent to our customers, monitoring and analyzing quality indicators, such as customer complaint rates, non-conformities, and rework, as well as implementing Integrated Quality Management Systems, conducting audits, certifications, analyzing data, identifying areas of improvement, and developing strategies to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction. Also, you'll lead and monitor the handling of non-conformities and the implementation of corrective and preventive action plans. On the other hand, you'll be responsible for coordinating and managing all EHS activities, such as environmental management (E), including occupational health and safety (H&S) management, local and global legal certifications for the proper functioning of the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), managing the QMS internal and external audit process, ensuring compliance and certification of the standards established by SECO.
- Promote a culture of safety at all organizational levels, coordinate local and global accident prevention initiatives, encourage the use of personal protective equipment and hazard reporting.
- Development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), managing the QMS internal and external audit process, ensuring compliance and certification of the standards established by SECO.
- Implement Integrated Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with product quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits to identify gaps in quality processes and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and patterns related to product defects or process issues.
- Develop strategies to improve product quality and customer satisfaction based on analysis of quality data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Quality and EHS initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards related to product quality, safety, environmental and health.
- Provide training and support to production staff on quality procedures and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of quality activities and communicate progress regularly to stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor the quality team, reviewing the goal setting, evaluations and incidences administration for payroll effects.
- Administrate suppliers related to consultants related to EHS or Quality matters, as well as the budget, invoice approval, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Proven experience in Quality Management System implementation and maintenance of it.
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control methods and tools.
- Experience with quality management software such as Six Sigma or ISO certification.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
