Project Logistics Coordinator

What you will enjoy doing*
- You will be responsible for coordinating & monitoring of Supply Chain/Logistics operations for Linde Engineering global projects
- You will communicate with suppliers & internal interface departments etc. to achieve best supply solution for the projects
- Further, you will manage Logistics Service Suppliers to ensure deliveries in time, budget & quality
- Prepare & coordinate packing & shipping of goods incl. data administration in SAP
- You will also plan & track the shipment of goods according to internal procedures and customer requirements
- Support for global tendering for logistics services in cooperation with Project Logistics Manager
- Additionally, you will meet cost, productivity & timeline targets
- Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
- Comply with laws, regulations and requirements as part of your role
- Support the PLM to prepare accurate reports and analysis for project management and customer as needed
What makes you great
- You have education in freight forwarding/transport/shipping/logistics/supply chain, or relevant field
- You own a minimum of 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding and/or logistics
- You have knowledge of transport/shipping related laws & regulations
- Computer‐savvy ideally with SAP knowledge
- Good English, both written and spoken

The position owner will be LENA´s single point of contact for all supply chain issues related to commodities including life cycle management, overall supplier relationship, proposals and purchases, aftermarket support, escalation of issues and supplier performance. Acts as the liaison between Global / Regional Suppliers and our Internal customers (Linde Engineering, Global COE, Global Plant Operations Global Hydrogen, and Research & Development) management. The Commodity manager creates winning solutions through knowledge of the industry, collaboration on market opportunities, use of frame agreements (FA’s), introduction of new supplier options, knowledge of equipment and ability to deliver results through high impact negotiations.
In this role you must learn and abide the Linde Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct by demonstrating honesty, integrity, professionalism in all communications, actions, and decisions.
