Job Title: Payroll Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to join our team in
Guadalajara. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for supporting accurate and
timely payroll processing while ensuring compliance with local regulations and
internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process biweekly and monthly payroll cycles for salaried and hourly employees
- Validate timesheets, calculate earnings, deductions, and benefits
- Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws and tax regulations
- Coordinate with HR and Finance to gather and validate payroll data
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and withholdings
- Assist with audits and generate payroll reports as needed
- Support process improvement initiatives and maintain payroll documentation
Qualifications:
- 1–5 years of experience in payroll processing in Mexico
- Familiarity with Mexican payroll laws and tax requirements
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., CONTPAQi Nóminas, SAP, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to handle confidential information
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related
field
- Experience in shared services or multinational environments
- Conversational English
Work Model:
- Hybrid: 3 days on-site at our Guadalajara office (Av Chapultepec Sur), 2 days
remote
