We’re looking for a talent working as the Financial Institution Business Development Senior Analyst (FIBD Senior Analyst) to identify and build partnership with financial institutions, in order to build up a solid cash loan and credit card infrastructure in Mexico for DiDi’s Fintech business. You will manage the local and regional core relationship of various financial partners strategically important to DiDi's fintech business in Mexico, such as card schemes, credit information companies, risk and data vendors etc.
You will have the opportunity to shape and deliver the channel partner strategies of DiDi’s Global Fintech FIBD team, and play a vital role to grow DiDi's Fintech business in Mexico, together with global colleagues, especially from Mexico and China.
The ideal candidate shall be excellent in business communications, execution with project mindset, and analytical thinking. Experiences in Mexico cash loan and credit card industry is preferred. We look forward to meeting you and having chances to work together.
Role Responsibilities:- Exploring and managing key partnerships with credit business vendors in Mexico, including card schemes, credit bureaus, risk and data vendors etc.
- Realizing DiDi's rapid-developing cash loan and credit card business strategies in Mexico, by mapping and optimizing offerings from various partners
- Handling business negotiation with FI partners, especially in commercial proposal and contract negotiation phases, to achieve business and risk management requirements
- Optimizing cost structures, and exploring innovative business opportunities with FI partners, to achieve a win-win situation for DiDi and partners
- Closely working with various internal teams globally, including business operations, risk management, legal, product, tech etc., and facilitate in solving problems with external partners
- Keening on the market trends in credit infrastructure of Mexico and Latin America, and share with DiDi Fintech's global teams, to ensure the state-of-art credit business infrastructure to be up-to-date
- Bachelor's Degree; background from distinguished universities or Master's Degree is a plus
- Strong ownership in deal execution and responsiveness, with a sharp project delivery mind
- 1-3 years of experience in Mexico credit industry, including cash loan and credit card business, or have some understanding of the Mexico credit industry; previous experiences in credit risk management or infrastructure partnership management are plus
- Understanding the Mexico credit business industry, including the landscapes of vendors, credit risk management, data compliance etc.; having strong connections with major players in the industry is preferred
- Strong in business communications and commercial sense, to both external business partners and internal global teams
- Capable of working flexible hours across time zones, especially for Mexico and China
- Ability to work proactively and innovative mind, with minimal guidance and high uncertainty
- Native in Spanish and fluent in English (both verbal and written) is a must; capable to speak Mandarin Chinese is not mandatory but a plus
