We are looking for an experienced and strategic analytics leader to join our team as Manager, Marketing & Acquisition Analytics. In this role, you will lead the analysis and reporting of subscriber acquisition performance, shape key business decisions through data-driven insights, and partner closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, and Data teams to drive growth.

You will play a critical role in uncovering the what, why, and what’s next behind subscriber acquisition trends, with a strong focus on marketing effectiveness, pricing strategy, and user behavior. This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Acquisition Performance Reporting: Oversee the tracking and reporting of core acquisition KPIs, including signups volume, mix, and conversion trends across products, plans, markets, and customer segments.

  • Drive Insightful Analyses: Conduct deep-dive analyses on acquisition drivers—content launches, seasonal trends, promotions, pricing, and platform behavior—to inform marketing and product strategies.

  • Model Pricing & Revenue Tradeoffs: Evaluate the impact of pricing changes on subscriber acquisition and revenue, using scenario modeling to understand short- and long-term implications.

  • Assess Promotional Effectiveness: Analyze promotional campaign performance using lift analysis and behavioral segmentation. Provide clear recommendations to optimize future promotions.

  • Optimize Marketing Efficiency: Lead measurement of marketing investment performance, including key efficiency metrics such as Subscriber Acquisition Cost (SAC), Cost-In-Market per Subscriber (CIMS), and others.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with teams across Data Insights, Planning, Finance, and Product to align acquisition forecasts, share performance updates, and support strategic planning.

  • Evaluate Payment Experience Impact: Assess how changes to payment flows or methods affect conversion, churn, and overall acquisition performance.

  • Deliver Strategic Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support executives with timely and insightful analysis to guide decisions on new initiatives, business cases, and emerging opportunities.

  • Partner on Strategic Narratives: Collaborate with leaders in Media, Partnerships, Data Science, and Streaming to craft compelling narratives around acquisition trends, highlighting internal and external performance drivers.

  • Enhance Organic Funnel Performance: Provide analysis on organic channels—such as the website funnel—to identify friction points and recommend optimization strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or acquisition analytics, preferably in a subscription or digital consumer business

  • Strong background in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)

  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations

  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and product teams

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to executive stakeholders

  • Comfort managing ambiguity and driving clarity in a fast-paced environment
