The Maintenance Technician must ensure the availability of equipment with power, pneumatic and hydraulic parts, used to manufacture single conductor and multi-conductor cables, following corrective and preventive maintenance plans, all framed in an environment of personal and customer safety, in addition to contributing to a good working environment.
The Maintenance Technician must proactively exhibit and motivate others in WireCo Business System (WBS) behaviors:

Functions:
- Receive shift handover and pending work from the previous shift.
- Verify proper functioning of assigned equipment.
- Attend to pending and current work orders, making the necessary corrections and properly closing the work orders.
- Safeguard the safety of all personnel within the plant facilities.
- Perform daily routines: manufacturing of process tooling.
- Carry out preventive maintenance work orders.
- Prepare daily logs and hand over the shift to the next mechanic.
- All activities mentioned are illustrative but not limiting.
Responsibilities
- Receive shift handover and pending work from the previous shift.
- Verify proper functioning of assigned equipment.
- Attend to pending and current work orders, making the necessary corrections and properly closing the work orders.
- Prepare spare parts requisition slips in the spare parts warehouse.
- Verify proper functioning of assigned equipment (lathes, milling machines, planer, mechanical saw).
- Carry out preventive maintenance work orders.
- Prepare daily logs and hand over shift to the next technician.
- Comply with policies, procedures, and the quality management system.
- Comply with safety policies and procedures.
- Meet organizational KPIs (business indicators, continuous improvement, WBS, safety, quality, QMS, etc.).
Requisitos
Requirements:
- High school diploma or technical degre
- Safety in work at heights
- Safety in electrical maintenance work
- Safety in welding and cutting work
