The Maintenance technician must ensure the availability of equipment with power, pneumatic and hydraulic parts, used to manufacture single conductor and multi-conductor cables, following corrective and preventive maintenance plans, all framed in an environment of personal and customer safety, in addition to contributing to a good working environment.
The Maintenance Technician must proactively exhibit and motivate others in WireCo Business System (WBS) behaviors:

Functions:
- Comply with corrective maintenance plans
- Comply with preventive maintenance plans
- Follow the industrial safety plan in the plant
- Attend to failures during the productive shift
- Participate in exercises to identify the causes of Near misses and incidents, where equipment, tools and machinery are related
- Participate in process and equipment improvements
- Maintain the program
Responsibilities
- Compliance with preventive and corrective maintenance programs in the power, pneumatic and hydraulic parts of the equipment and tools
- Perform preventive safety observations
- Use of the Lock out & Tag out system in every repair involving machinery and equipment
- Support and execution of the following tasks, hand in hand with the electromechanic:
- Perform calculations necessary to obtain good results in the modification of any of our equipment.
- List of materials needed for the modification of any of our equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electronic, hydraulic, etc.).
- Making electrical, pneumatic, control diagrams and everything necessary for the modification or installation of new equipment or systems.
- Assembly of electrical panels and total integration of the above-mentioned equipment.
- Ability to overcome any obstacle encountered in any of the above-mentioned tasks (Make an integration with different protocols and brands of devices).
Requisitos
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or technical career in machines and tools.
- Safety in work at heights
- Safety in electrical maintenance work
- Safety in welding and cutting work
- Knowledge in pneumatics and electromechanics
