Maintenance & Technical Services Manager, Saltillo

What’s The Role About?
As Maintenance & Technical Services Manager, Saltillo, you’ll lead our technical support and utilities teams, ensuring the reliable performance of our equipment and systems. Your mission: maintain seamless plant operations and continuously elevate reliability, safety, and efficiency using modern maintenance methodologies.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead and implement our Site Maintenance Strategy aligned with PEMM (PepsiCo’s maintenance excellence model).
Drive digital transformation and reliability-centered maintenance for world-class performance.
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules using SAP PM.
- Optimize resources, reduce downtime, and maximize technical availability across all production assets.
- Empower and develop your team, building strong technical capability and a culture of accountability.
- Lead the operation and maintenance of utilities infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient energy delivery.
- Monitor KPIs (TE, MTBF, MTTR) to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
Ensure full compliance with internal, external, and legal inspection requirements.
You’ll Also Champion Our Sustainability & Food Safety Programs:
Environmental Management:
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and PepsiCo’s GEHSMS.
- Support internal audits and continuous improvement of our environmental systems.
Food Safety:
- Enforce and improve standards across all food safety processes.
- Foster a culture of safety and quality across the plant.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related).
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance leadership roles.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong strategic mindset, problem-solving skills, and operational discipline.
- Experience with SAP, Excel, and digital tools.
- PLC experience
- Basic to Intermediate Control and PLC knowledge
