The Collections Analyst is responsible for managing accounts receivable portfolio by ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, maintaining positive customer relationships, and minimizing credit risk. This role involves analyzing customer payment trends, resolving disputes, and supporting process improvements to optimize cash flow and working capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Contact customers via phone, email, and other channels to follow up on overdue payments.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and short payments.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to address collection issues.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports, collection forecasts, and KPIs (e.g., DSO, overdue %, bad debt).
- Support the assessment of customer credit risk and recommend credit limit adjustments when needed.
- Escalate high-risk accounts to management and recommend actions for doubtful accounts.
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Advanced English
