Position: Account Manager Specialist
Position Summary:
The Account Manager Specialist will be responsible for managing small to medium-sized accounts to effectively support various customers and business needs. This role serves as the primary liaison between smaller clients and the enterprise. The core focus will be on customer retention and identifying growth opportunities by developing strategic solutions and delivering added value.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify sales opportunities and expand the existing customer portfolio.
Strategically manage all aspects of the customer relationship for each assigned account.
Track and manage open tasks to ensure timely delivery and completion of key customer initiatives.
Act as a point of escalation for significant customer issues within assigned accounts.
Understand all terms of contracts, service agreements, and related addendums.
Oversee account statements and scopes of work, ensuring all departments are aligned with contractual obligations.
Support both internal and external billing inquiries as needed.
Assist in Accounts Receivable efforts to ensure timely payments for assigned accounts.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities to support contractual commitments.
Drive account growth to support overall volume and revenue targets.
Develop creative and effective savings plans tailored to customer needs.
Support and implement retention initiatives to ensure long-term account relationships.
Contribute to account-related projects such as new business implementation, recruitment efforts, and training programs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the Sales Team to help identify and develop new business opportunities.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
Experience in logistics and supply chain management.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
