What we're looking for:
An Account Manager is responsible of managing a set of accounts & building strong long-term relationships. An account Manager can be in charge of finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof.
Key Deliverables of the Role:
- Build and maintain profitable customer relationships.
- Meet sales target and revenue plans for defined accounts.
- Identify business opportunities and create strategic sales plans to drive results and increase sales.
- Define and review the success criteria with each client to ensure they are performing as expected on a regular basis.
- Leverage sales management tools to track sales activities.
- Represent the organization by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects in order to sell the organization’s products.
- Apply a broad knowledge of the organization’s products to close sales and maintain relations with specifically identified customers.
- Uncover and understand customer’s strategic priorities, buying motives, end user needs, office processes, and business operations.
- Articulate added value in a dialogue with the customer while securing projects.
- Understand customer’s business in order to position SERMO’s products.
- Effectively communicate and utilize multiple resources and tools to deliver a clear and concise sales message.
Beneficial IT Skills:
- Ability to work with several operating systems, including Windows & Mac OSX.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- E-mail management.
- Digital Calendars (Outlook, Google, etc.).
- Instant Messaging.
- Video Conferencing.
- Cloud Backup Software (Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.).
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Sales Force.
- Complete and execute pre-call plans for all accounts in order to influence sales behavior.
- Customer Acquisition: Prospect for new sales opportunities; move deals through the sales stages: bidding, opportunity management, handoff of the project, etc.
- Drive funnel growth for all SERMO products.
Essential Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles.
- Strong ad demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Healthcare Market Research background strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in Account/Client Management.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong communication skills to conduct client calls with all levels of leadership.
- Proven track record of significantly growing accounts, attaining, and exceeding sales quotas.
- Prospecting Skills.
- Can collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment.
- Is a trusted advisor to the customers and colleagues.
- Solution selling ability.
