Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating the tactical execution of promotional campaigns for assigned titles, with a particular focus on physical marketing channels such as shopping malls and movie theaters, as well as premium formats (IMAX, 4DX, Sala Jr, VIP, Platino).
The role includes coordinating activities with exhibitors, managing the creative agency’s deliverable schedule, and overseeing the review of scripts for social media assets and marketing materials.
This position requires strong planning, execution, and strategic thinking skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting marketing initiatives, including the execution of programs aimed at driving awareness of theater amenities & experiences, and guest engagement.
- Participate in the planning of marketing campaigns for assigned titles, from brief development and goal setting to reviewing the overall campaign strategy.
- Monitor and manage the deliverable calendar per title, ensuring creative agencies meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Coordinate and actively participate in meetings with exhibitors to develop joint ideas that generate interest and consideration for assigned titles.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for all theater-related requests, ensuring all marketing materials align with brand standards and contribute to cohesive, engaging messaging across all guest touchpoints.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with exhibitors, independent theater partners, and internal/external teams to drive planned title-specific initiatives.
- Apply strong Excel and analytical skills to track in-theater engagement, impressions, and exhibitor value, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Review and filter creative proposals (social, physical, or BTL) to ensure alignment with campaign positioning and guidelines before escalating to the Sr. Marketing Manager.
- Coordinate the delivery of social media assets related to physical marketing activities with exhibitors and shopping malls (activations, character tours, special formats, etc.).
- Participate in the ideation of activities with shopping mall partners, ensuring alignment with the overall objectives of the assigned title.
- Oversee the implementation of activities in shopping malls, ensuring on-time execution and adherence to the company’s quality standards.
- Analyze and present post-campaign evaluations of shopping mall activities, providing recommendations to maximize our partnerships.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, International Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in entertainment, retail, or consumer marketing, with proven involvement in BTL activations, exhibitor relations, and campaign coordination.
- Advanced English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
