What you’ll do:
Basic function:
Controls and ensures manufacturing products with quality, aligned with Eaton Quality Management System and Customer Requirements
Main responsibilities and authority:
- Leads line rejects analysis to improve FTQ, Scrap and PPM, follow up actions using A3 Problem solving as a main tool.
- Provides the interface between the organization and their customers:
- Proactive communication and support with critical customers.
- Customer Portal Monitor and actions needed execution weekly.
- Coordinate corrective actions, containment, and quality alerts.
- Customer visits coordination and follow up actions.
- Maintain Process documentation updated with engineering changes, using process and product audits as a daily tool, having the following inputs:
- LPA, Internal, FEA, External and QFC Audits.
- Product and Process Audit.
- Reverse poke yoke audits and Special Characteristics revision.
- Maintain Core Documents updated accordingly based on changes performed.
- Provides Monitoring of the correct performance of measuring systems.
- Teams up with SQE in the follow up of supplier problems, Keep MRB/Hold at minimum.
- Responsible for defining material shipment in compliance with deviation/bypass process when applies, working together with product engineering as required.
- Support Plant initiatives (RIE, Cost Out, TVSM, etc.).
- Functional and CI competencies completion based on training established.
- Management of Warranty Parts from Customers #LI-DG2 #LI-DG2

- Mechanical, Electrical and Industrial Engineering
Years and area of experience required:
- Minimum 3 years as QA Engineer
Technical competencies:
- English 90% Written & Verbal Skills
- Problem Solving Skills (8D, A3, 5 whys, Fishbone, Pareto etc.)
- Six Sigma / Shainin certification desired
- ASQ CQE Certification desired
- Automotive Industry Background ISO 9000 – IATF 16949 Knowledge
- Internal Auditor certificate desired
- Advanced Inspection & Testing
- GD&T & MSA knowledge
- Automotive Core Tools knowledge (PPAP, APQP, PCP, SPC, PFMEA)
- Continues Improvement Competencies
- To achieve intermediate level for the following CI tools: 5’s, SW, VSM, TVSM.
- To achieve an advanced level for BPS tool.
