KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver high-quality Social Studies instruction aligned with AIM’s curriculum and standards
- Create dynamic, student-centered lesson plans that encourage discussion, analysis, and global perspectives
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Support student learning through differentiated instruction and inclusive practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular themes and enhance the learning experience
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities
- Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment that supports student wellbeing
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (History, Geography, Political Science, etc.)
- Teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Proven experience teaching Social Studies or related subjects
- Experience in bilingual (English/Spanish) or international school settings is a strong asset
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for inspiring young learners and fostering a global mindset
