Position Overview
The Sr. IT Business Partner, Shop Floor Production Execution will oversee and optimize production execution processes, including Quality Assurance (QA), backflushing, Internet of Things (IoT) integration, and manufacturing operations. This role requires expertise in shop floor systems and technologies to ensure seamless integration and functionality, driving efficiency and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
What you'll do
- Production Execution: Develop and implement IT solutions to manage and optimize production execution processes, ensuring efficient and timely manufacturing operations.
- Quality Assurance (QA): Implement and maintain tools to monitor and ensure product quality standards are met throughout the production process.
- Goods Movements/Goods receipt: Automate and manage backflushing and confirmation processes to accurately account for material usage and inventory levels at the point of use, ensuring real-time data accuracy.
- IoT Integration: Integrate IoT devices and solutions to monitor and control production equipment, enhancing operational efficiency and predictive maintenance capabilities.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of shop floor systems with enterprise IT systems, such as SAP ME and MII.
- Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, turning insights into actionable solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance shop floor performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to achieve operational goals.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in shop floor IT operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in shop floor systems and technologies, including SAP ME and MII.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of IoT technologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards.
- Fluent in Spanish and English
