Where we Work
Udemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

About this role
As Udemy transitions from Zendesk to Salesforce Service and Experience Clouds, we are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Service Cloud Developer to help design, build, and scale solutions that enhance our global customer support operations. Supporting both Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and B2B (Enterprise) use cases, you will be instrumental in delivering complex, secure, and scalable implementations using both declarative tools and custom Apex/LWC development. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Admins, and cross-functional business partners to bring strategic initiatives to life—from advanced case management to AI-driven automation.
What you’ll be doing

Collaborate with product managers and architects to design scalable solutions within Salesforce Service and Experience Clouds that address complex business requirements

Develop custom functionality using Apex classes, triggers, test classes, LWR, SOQL, SOSL and Lightning Web Components following best practices in performance, security, and modular design.

Design and implement advanced automation using Flows, Process Builder, and Apex with complex branching logic, transaction control, and error handling

Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and Workato

Execute configuration tasks, data migrations, and transformations using both declarative tools and custom ETL processes

Support testing phases (QA, SIT, and UAT) and manage deployments across environments using Gearset with Udemy defined CI/CD practices
-
Create comprehensive technical documentation and participate in knowledge sharing to ensure solution sustainability
-
Actively engage in agile development practices including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule
What you’ll have

5-10 years of experience developing and administering Salesforce Service Cloud, with emphasis on supporting global SaaS companies

Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Workato, Gearset, and AI solutions are preferred.

In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for equity.
