Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Under general supervision:
1. Perform a variety of advanced duties in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, tax, treasury, or general accounting. Lead and coordinate the direction of work performed by others in these areas.
2. Identify, research, and recommend solutions in complex or non-routine situations to supervisor as appropriate.
3. Coordinate various company programs and platforms, like the credit card program, letters of credit, or bank guarantees.
4. Compile and analyze reports, metrics, and reconciliations for internal and external users. These may include account reconciliations, management reports, tax returns, cash reporting and projections, and payroll or insurance reporting.
5. Identify areas of opportunity for improvement and lead team to successful completion with limited direction and supervision.
6. Take initiative in personal development and the development of others. Assist in directing activities of specialists and interns.
7. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

9. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
One-year certificate in accounting or related field.
5+ years experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, tax, treasury, banking, or general accounting.
Strong skills in computerized accounting systems, Excel, Word and 10-key calculator.
Exceptional organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Background check results satisfactory to SEL. Negative drug test result(s).
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree in Accounting or related field.
Experience in an accounting department of a manufacturing or technical sales environment.
