Job Summary
The IT Monitoring Analyst is responsible for monitoring IT systems, network performance, cloud infrastructure and operational dashboards—The role includes identifying alerts, performing basic troubleshooting, and escalating validated issues to the appropriate teams. During quiet periods, the analyst will support the IT department by handling standard help desk tickets. The position require rotating night work schedule from 5pm to 1am and 1am to 9am remotely
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor IT systems, networks, and dashboards (e.g., Salesforce, DataDog, DarkTrace, Windows Defender, AWS, AWS Cloud applications, CloudWatch ) in real time for performance issues or disruptions.
- Investigate and triage alerts to determine next steps.
- Perform basic Level 1 troubleshooting and quick fixes when appropriate.
- Escalate confirmed issues to the designated IT teams using the ticketing system.
- Handle general IT support tickets during periods with no alerts.
- Document all actions, resolutions, and handoffs clearly within the system.
- Assist in improving monitoring practices and alert response workflows.
- Recommend improvements in monitoring processes and dashboards to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Technical degree or university studies in Computer Systems, Information Technology, or related fields (completed or in progress).
- Previous experience in IT support, operations monitoring, or help desk roles.
- Mid to advanced English level (written and spoken) – required for communication and documentation.
- Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and monitoring tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and potentially on rotating shifts (if applicable).
