HSE Safety Leader
Objective
Critical need to strengthen the culture of safety and risk prevention within our operations. Currently, the growth of our operations, the number of employees, and the complexity of our processes demand a specialized role to coordinate, supervise, and implement comprehensive and systematic workplace safety strategies.
Main Responsibilities
- Analysis of strategies for legal and regulatory compliance
- Analyze and evaluate risks identified by the plants, coordinating SITE strategies and annexes.
- Development of preventive program strategies
- Development and follow-up of the regional strategy for the implementation of an occupational health and safety management system
- Support in certifications and external audits of the system
Position Requirements
- Career and skills desired Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields, master’s degree desirable
- Experience: Safety legislation (Federal, State, and Municipal), ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification
- Skills: Risk analysis, Strategic leadership roles, Development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic plans, Leadership of multidisciplinary teams, Change management, Strong networking skills.
