Financial Analyst III - BPG – Single Use Division Operations Finance

Matamoros, Mexico – onsite

As the Financial Analyst for our manufacturing site in Matamoros, Mexico, you will serve with a strong Finance Team to craft ambitious and achievable financial objectives. And you’ll collaborate across functions to achieve the site’s growth and profitability goals.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a full business partner to the Matamoros, Mexico site.
• Partner with the site leadership team to achieve monthly and quarterly financial commitments, with an emphasis on margin improvement.
• Provide month-end reporting and forecasting for the site.
• Partner with General Accounting and Cost Accounting to ensure financial results are accurate and aligned with company policies.
• Collaborate with Cost Accounting and assist in analyzing appropriate standards during Cost Rolls.
• Analyze financial results, explain deviations to forecasts, and communicate risks and opportunities to management.
• Prepare the annual operating plan (AOP) and financial forecasts.
• Conduct detailed supporting analysis on P&L accounts that affect gross margin.
• Drive continuous improvement to department procedures and processes to improve efficiency.
• Provide financial data and analysis for decision-making.
• Assist the Finance Manager with reporting and analysis as needed.
• Help the Finance team with extra projects like analyzing reasons for capital spending, tracking financial data, and investigating financial problems.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, or related field with 2+ years of finance/accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel).
• Demonstrates problem-solving and in-depth analytical skills.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse work teams.
• Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to make decisions with good judgment while aligning with policies and procedures.
• Proficient in both Spanish and English languages.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills working across various functions.
• Proven track record of strong attention to detail.
• Desire to formulate and drive process improvements.
