About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic finance leader to serve as the Chief Financial Officer. This key leadership role will oversee financial operations, internal controls, and compliance across the region. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement financial planning, budgeting, accounting, procurement, and payroll processes, ensuring compliance with regional and national regulations.
- Manage internal controls, audits, and risk management activities, collaborating with insurance and risk management teams.
- Oversee all financial reporting functions including monthly, annual, and ad hoc reports for corporate and client stakeholders.
- Administer the full accounting cycle including general ledger, revenue recognition, cost accounting, and property and operational expenditures.
- Review and authorize contracts, settlements, and financial disbursements related to events, concessions, and subcontractors.
- Support HR functions and payroll administration on-site.
- Collaborate with department leaders to drive financial performance, offering insights and actionable recommendations.
- Prepare for and support external and client audits, implementing audit recommendations as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5–7 years of experience in public accounting and/or financial management at the director or senior managerial level.
- Advanced knowledge of general and cost accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Preferred experience with ADP payroll systems and Sage accounting software.
- Fluency in English (spoken, written, and reading) is highly desirable.
- CPA or MBA credentials are considered a plus.
- Proactive, organized, and results-driven.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
- Adept at balancing strategic oversight with hands-on operational execution.
