Overview

We are looking for an Engineer to work in Global Emerging Markets (GEM) Technology and support GEM Fixed Income and Currency (FIC) Change and Transformation and Run the Bank team with Deutsche Bank’s multi-year key LATAM program. Specifically on the Technology area responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments.

What You’ll Do

• Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals  
• Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions
• Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow
• Reviewing engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability
• Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the Bank.

Skills You’ll Need

• Demonstrable knowledge of Investment Bank trading solutions and infrastructure preferably in Fixed Income or Equities with exposure to FIC products and Front-to-Back trading stack;
• Demonstrable knowledge and expertise on Mexico Regulatory Report systems;
• Moderate Business Analysis, preferably in the Investment Bank or Large Financial Institution.
• Experience in software development from inception through to delivery.
• Strong knowledge on technology & database concepts, Structured Query Language (SQL), Application Programming Interface’s (APIs), software development life cycle (SDLC) Principles and Controls.
• Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/work experience

• Good verbal and written communication and ability to put tech concepts in plain language
• Knowledge on technology & database concepts, SQL, Application Programming Interface’s (APIs), SDLC Principles and Controls
