Job Description
The Infotainment DRE is responsible for leading the development, integration, and release of infotainment components and systems, including displays, control units, connectivity modules, audio systems, navigation, and human-machine interface (HMI) technologies. This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams, Tier 1 suppliers, quality, manufacturing, and validation departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage technical requirements for infotainment systems.
- Coordinate design, development, and release of components using PLM systems.
- Oversee functional, environmental, and EMC validation testing.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with specifications and delivery timelines.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during development and production phases.
- Ensure effective integration with other vehicle systems (ADAS, telematics, etc.).
- Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and root cause analysis.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive infotainment development.
- Proficiency in automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Experience with design and simulation tools (e.g., Nx, CATIA, CANalyzer).
- Familiarity with embedded operating systems (Linux, QNX, Android Automotive).
- Advanced English (spoken and written).
- Strong technical leadership and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automated validation software.
- Certifications in ASPICE, AUTOSAR, or ISO 26262.
- Experience working with global OEMs.
