Continuous Improvement Engineer

Job summary
- Analyze organizational KPI's, performing periodic reviews to evaluate results and recommend action plans to close gaps at the operational level. - - Develop kaizen activities for waste reduction, using tools such as Standardized Work, 8-Step Problem Solving, Change Reduction, TPM, etc. - Perform Work Method Analysis, Time Studies, Capacity Analysis, Design Analysis and Line Balancing for proper material flow and controlled inventory levels. -Evaluate various improvement projects and create Value Analysis looking for ways to reduce cost in manufacturing applications - Promote and develop the skills and training needed to create a Lean culture within the company, promoting teamwork and the exchange of best practices. - Lead and promote workplace organization (5s and waste disposal) as well as Gemba walks and problem solving to improve plant management
