Job objective:
Proactively maintain the supply of materials and/or services required for uninterrupted operation and ensure production flow, with the required quality and timing.
Requirements:
- Higher education, economics/administration or industrial engineering.
- Advanced English.
- More than three years of experience in purchasing.
- Experience in MRO warehouse control (6 months).
- Negotiation skills.
Experience:
- Request, manage, control, and safeguard the registration of suppliers for direct and indirect materials. In folders within the Archive area. (Lifetime).
- Request changes to payment terms, removal of suppliers, and new suppliers. (Direct and indirect).
- Safeguarding of confirmations by Accounts Payable of changes in payment terms, elimination of suppliers (direct and indirect) in the supplier registration folder.
- Request and select quotes for indirect materials and/or services, negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best cost-benefit ratio.
- Create, update, and/or send open or closed purchase orders for direct and indirect items.
- Properly file purchase orders for direct and indirect materials. Including but not limited to:
- Confirmation of acceptance of purchase conditions by the supplier.
- Full or interim quality approval. (Only for direct materials)
- Quotes
- Comparative table.
- Keep the online price list of direct raw materials up to date.
- Control and monitor purchase contracts and/or loan agreements for direct or indirect materials and/or services.
- Return purchase orders that do not meet the necessary requirements for filing (quotes, comparisons, etc.) to the Purchasing Coordinator and/or Buyer every third day, if applicable.
- Work to achieve the company's annual savings goals.
- Follow up on open POs and submit a status report at the end of the month.
- Follow up and actively participate in contracted service projects until their completion.
- Validate commercial references, addresses, and blacklists of new suppliers.
