We're on a mission to help people around the world travel better and experience more, and we're looking for a highly skilled Platform Engineer III to be a cornerstone of our DevOps Engineering team in Mexico.
This is an incredible opportunity to leverage your advanced Azure cloud knowledge and hands-on experience to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise Azure infrastructure. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies, automate critical processes, and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do to drive our success:
- Design and build cloud-native applications with precision, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD release pipelines using Azure DevOps for seamless and efficient software delivery.
- Optimize and scale our infrastructure, always with cost efficiency at the forefront.
- Automate repetitive tasks, significantly reducing toil and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of core cloud technologies and their major concepts.
- Actively contribute to shaping our team's cloud development and operations practices and methodologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to bring innovative cloud-native solutions to life.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all cloud solutions.
- Stay at the forefront of the latest Azure cloud services and best practices.
- Be willing to occasionally work weekends or after hours, participating in a shared 24x7x365 on-call rotation.
Who you are – Your expertise is key:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with a strong focus on Azure cloud technologies
- Proven expertise with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code provisioning.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps for developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- A solid understanding of cloud concepts, architecture, and industry best practices.
- Extensive experience building native Azure cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Strong scripting automation skills using Azure CLI and PowerShell.
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices with Azure Entra ID and Managed Identities.
- Demonstrated experience with a combination of crucial Azure technologies, including:
- App Services
- Key Vaults
- Storage Accounts
- Azure SQL
- Front Door
- Networking
- Monitoring
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Highly adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment.
- English proficiency is required.
Bonus Points if you have:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with microservices and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Knowledge of API Gateways and API Platforms.
- Familiarity with full-stack development, including Angular & .NET/C#.
- Experience incorporating SAST into pipelines.
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
