About the Role
As an Associate Director, Supplier Assurance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of our manufacturing operations by leading strategic initiatives that secure material flow and supplier performance. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality HVAC products across four commercial plants.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team responsible for daily supplier performance and assurance.
Ensure uninterrupted material flow to support manufacturing operations across four commercial HVAC plants.
Proactively manage and resolve supply chain disruptions through close collaboration with suppliers, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders.
Develop and monitor robust KPIs and early warning indicators to identify and mitigate potential material shortages and supplier capacity constraints.
Implement and manage crisis-response mechanisms, including supplier escalations and executive briefings.
Guide root cause analysis and countermeasure planning for recurring supply issues.
Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier performance issues requiring senior-level visibility and action.
Collaborate closely with Materials, Operations, Engineering, and Procurement teams to align supply recovery plans with production needs.
Apply analytical tools such as Line of Balance, inventory models, and production scenario planning to make data-driven decisions and build supply assurance strategies.
Foster strong, trust-based relationships with suppliers to promote transparency, collaboration, and joint problem-solving.
Provide clear guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to build capability and accountability.
Drive continuous improvement in supplier assurance processes, tools, and visibility.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Supplier Management, or Procurement.
Strong background in HVAC or industrial products.
Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance in fast-paced, crisis-oriented environments.
Proficiency in inventory management principles, capacity planning, and supply risk mitigation.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting.
Ability to influence cross-functionally and operate with urgency, clarity, and precision.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Additional experience in complex industrial environments.
