As a Supplier Development Engineer Manager here at Honeywell, you will hold a guiding role accountable for driving the optimization and improvement of our organization's supplier base. In this role, you will impact our organization by guiding and managing the supplier development team, providing guidance and facilitating to drive continuous improvement and optimize the supply chain. Your expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and continuous improvement methodologies enables us to maintain strong supplier partnerships and ensure a reliable supply of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive supplier development strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Lead and mentor a team of supplier development engineers
- Establish and enforce supplier performance standards
- Drive innovation in supplier processes
- Foster strategic relationships with suppliers
- Identify and provide resources for supplier capability building
- Assess and mitigate supplier related risks
- Manage the supplier development budget efficiently
- Work close whit Supplier Quality Engineering Team for continues improvement of quality metrics.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 6+ years of experience in supplier development, engineering, or a related guiding role
- 6+ years of guiding and team management experience.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
- In-depth knowledge of supplier development strategies, supplier relationship management, and quality control.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
