As part of our Global Operations Business Unit: Ensuring excellence in execution—from procurement to supply chain and reliability—delivering quality, safety, efficiency, and sustainability across the value chain - we are seeking a Regional Category Manager – Facilities to join our team in Punto Polanco, Mexico, in a hybrid setting.

Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Lead sourcing activities for the Facilities category across the North America region, aligned with global procurement policies and strategies.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand demand and anticipate future needs.
- Develop and implement regional category strategies that deliver value and optimize life cycle costs.
- Apply IFF’s strategic sourcing methodology, including spend analysis, market intelligence, and supplier diversification.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance using Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) principles.
- Negotiate master agreements and resolve vendor performance issues and claims.
- Collaborate across regions to ensure alignment and consistency in procurement practices.
- Drive continuous improvement in service quality and cost optimization through stakeholder collaboration.
- Support working capital reduction initiatives through payment term negotiations and long-term planning.
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Engineering, Law, Economics, or Supply Chain.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of procurement experience in the United States, specifically in relevant categories.
- Strong negotiation skills with at least 4 years of experience conducting negotiations in English.
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems such as Systems Applications and Products (SAP) or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Office 365 and procurement/sourcing tools.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Experience in the flavors and fragrances industry, including knowledge of religious certifications, regulatory frameworks, and Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) compliance.
