Ingredion is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Shared Services Center in Guadalajara. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, supporting internal controls, and contributing to the efficiency of our financial operations.
As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be responsible for processing and verifying accounts payable transactions for domestic and international purchases, ensuring compliance with tax and internal control requirements. You will also support payment processing, vendor inquiries, and audit requests, while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
This role reports to the Accounts Payable Leader.
What will you do:
- Process records related to accounts payable for purchases, freight, customs, and T&E expenses.
- Ensure proper authorization and compliance with internal procedures during the payment process.
- Verify that all invoices meet tax and regulatory requirements.
- Process supplier payments on time, following the internal calendar.
- Manage vendor payments through various methods (disbursements, checks, factoring).
- Respond to vendor and internal customer inquiries accurately and promptly.
- Support month-end closing activities and special projects as needed.
- Assist with audit requests and documentation.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 1 year of experience in general accounting or accounts payable.
- Basic to intermediate English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience with bank and supplier transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
