CEVA FM Mexico is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Credit Management division. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on accounts collection processes that align with our core principles and values. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient collection of debts, contributing to the financial stability and success of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the collection process for assigned CEVA accounts, ensuring that all payments are tracked, and ageing debts are brought to resolution.
- Engage with clients to obtain payment confirmations while proactively preventing accounts from falling into overdue status.
- Maintain effective communication with operational and sales personnel as needed, acquiring necessary support documentation for services rendered and facilitating smooth invoicing.
- Deliver high-level customer service both internally and externally, addressing inquiries and providing assistance to clients regarding their accounts.
- Ensure timely delivery of invoices and supporting documents to clients, adhering strictly to deadlines.
- Communicate potential risks regarding revenue collection timely to your Supervisor and Manager, ensuring proactive management of accounts.
- Accurately apply received payments to accounts, ensuring all balances reflect current statuses.
- Send account statements to clients periodically to maintain transparency and communication regarding their account status.
- Perform administrative tasks related to the Credit and Collection department, optimising the workflow and efficiency of the team.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency in all operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts payable or similar finance roles.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
