Overview:
Rotating Equipment Reliability position is important for ensuring uninterrupted production, enhancing safety, and ensuring that key machinery remains reliable, efficient, and cost-effective over its lifecycle. Also, is required to contribute to develop reliability strategies for the Site, such as predictive and preventive maintenance, help to extend the rotating equipment lifecycle and prevent unexpected failures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop rotating equipment reliability program, ensure proper execution, and drive continuous improvement.
- Perform detailed root cause and bad actor analyses to understand equipment malfunctions and develop effective solutions.
- Apply condition monitoring techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, lubrication programs) to prevent and anticipate to equipment failures, minimize lost production, and reduce maintenance costs.
- Participate in site Management of Change process, including MOCs generation and review for reliability needs.
- Develop capital project scopes and justifications as needed and support Project Engineering Department in implementation.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and procedures.
- Work in a team and support the response to operational issues by engaging with other disciplines (Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, etc.) as needed.
- Interact with technical experts, vendors, or outside consultants when necessary.
- High commitment to standards in safety and quality of work.
- Develop technical capabilities for maintenance 24/7 teams and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Look for productivity opportunities and production losses reduction that generate benefits > $100k dollars annually.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
- 5 years in industry engineering verifiable experience.
- Vibration analysis certification category IV (verifiable), focus on directing monitoring programs, performing in-depth diagnostics, and recommending corrective actions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English language (read, write, and speak fluently).
- Knowledge of international codes (ASME, API, ISO) and local regulations (NOMs).
- Demonstrate proficiency in SAP software utilization.
- Knowledge of PI&D interpretation, mechanical drawings, and specification data sheets.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and experience on problem solving and troubleshooting using diverse methodologies (RCA, tap root, Ishikawa, etc.).
- Required competencies: adaptability, coaching and developing, collaboration, driving for results, strategic planning & managing work.
