TAX MANAGER

Y1. Tax Compliance:
a) Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant
regula!ons.
b) Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure accurate and !mely filing of tax
returns.
c) Monitor changes in tax laws and regula!ons to ensure compliance and iden!fy poten!al taxsaving
opportuni!es.
d) Implement and maintain tax compliance procedures to mi!gate risks and ensure accuracy.
2. Tax Planning:
a) Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the organiza!on's tax liability.
b) Provide guidance on the tax implica!ons of business transac!ons, such as mergers, acquisi!ons,
and restructuring.
c) Iden!fy opportuni!es for tax credits, deduc!ons, and incen!ves to op!mize the organiza!on's
tax posi!on.
d) Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and legal, to structure transac!ons in a taxefficient
manner.
3. Financial Repor ng:
a) Prepare and review tax provisions for financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally
Accepted Accoun!ng Principles).
b) Ensure accurate and !mely repor!ng of tax-related financial informa!on to internal and external
stakeholders.
c) Assist with the prepara!on of tax disclosures for financial statements and regulatory filings.
4. Tax Audit Support:
a) Serve as the primary point of contact for tax authori!es during audits and inquiries.
b) Coordinate responses to tax no!ces and requests for informa!on, working closely with internal
and external stakeholders.
c) Review and analyze tax audit findings and proposed adjustments, providing recommenda!ons
for resolu!on.
5. Team Management and Development:
a) Supervise and mentor tax staff, providing guidance on technical ma3ers and professional
development.
b) Foster a collabora!ve and high-performance work environment within the tax department.
c) Conduct performance evalua!ons and provide feedback to team members to support their
growth and development.
