Job Description
This role will ensure the smooth and efficient setup of supplier and customer accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that suppliers and customers adhere to regulatory standards, contractual obligations, and internal policies. This role requires a thorough understanding of compliance frameworks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze and mitigate risks related to supplier and customer relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate suppliers to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Conduct audits and assessments of supplier operations to identify compliance risks.
- Maintain supplier compliance records, including certifications, licenses, and documents required by law.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve compliance issues and ensure continuous improvement.
- Work closely with procurement teams to ensure supplier due diligence processes are followed.
- Monitor customer activities to ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions, including contracts, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Support customer onboarding processes by verifying compliance with legal and financial standards.
- Manage customer compliance-related inquiries and assist in resolving issues related to non-compliance.
- Collaborate with legal and sales teams to enforce compliance within customer agreements.
- Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions to mitigate those risks.
- Prepare regular compliance reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance controls within the supply chain and customer-facing processes.
- Assist in developing and delivering compliance training programs for suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in local, national, and international regulations that may impact supplier and customer compliance.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain Management, Law or a related field.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in compliance, procurement, or supply chain management. Strong knowledge of Mexican regulations, including trade compliance, labor laws, and environmental standards.
- Familiarity with international compliance standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Adaptable to changing regulatory environments and business needs.
- Fluent in English and Spanish both spoken and written
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in business, supply chain or related field.
- Experience working with an international company
- Familiarity with international compliance standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR, etc.)
